scatterbrained

ups & downs

What I’ve been noticing is that the transition period between college and the real world [whether that’s grad school, employment, or whatever] is the most strenuous.  Not only are my parents breathing down my neck, but I really must consider the end result of the choices that I make today.  There is a huge gap between my passion for learning and what I’d like to do compared to what is practical and will pay the bills.  There are so many push and pull factors towards each direction, which definitely do not help me b/c I’m indecisive as is.  Luckily, I have great friends and a wonderful boyfriend who are willing to listen to me think outloud and attempt to make a plan.  As stressful as college was, there has been no greater anxiety than trying to figure out my future…or accept what I have to work with.
